What We Offer
We offer translations into all major languages and their combinations. Our experienced translators who are native speakers of the language into which they translate serve as the guarantee of the quality of our services. For technical projects we always use translators who are well versed in the terminology of the project.We work with over a thousand translators who cover various specialist fields and language combinations. All our translators meet at least the following requirements:
- They are native speakers of the language they translate into.
- They are nearly always in-country translators, meaning that they live in the country where the language into which they translate is used.
- They have at least five years’ of professional experience.
- They have provided at least four references for each language combination and area of expertise.
Our Services
We are aware that each text is unique, and at the same time know that every client has different expectations concerning the deadline and quality of the translation as well as the fees they expect to pay. In addition, translations are used for various purposes: sometimes, a client needs the translation only for the company’s internal use, while at other times the client requires a proofread translation. In some cases, however, the client needs a superior quality proofread and localized translation, as the text will appear in mass media. This is why we offer three different translation packages depending on the number of professionals involved and the applicable translation fees.Basic translation
Basic translation is mostly suitable for general texts intended for internal use within the company, e.g. for working documents or understanding foreign texts sent by the client or a third party. The text is translated by a professional translator who is a native speaker of the target language. Our project manager, using automated translation software, then examines the translation for accuracy and suitability and solves any discrepancies or questions by consulting the translator. Every word is thus reviewed at least twice.Basic translation is unsuitable for highly specialised texts, where a translator with appropriate specialised knowledge of the translation area is required.
Standard Translation
Standard translation is the most frequently selected service as it is suitable for the widest range of projects. Your project is translated by a professional translator who is a native speaker of the target language. If required, the translator has the necessary specialist expertise in the area of translation. The translation is then examined by a proofreader who has experience and expertise in the field of the target text. The proofreader makes the necessary changes, taking into consideration specialist terminology and the target translation area. After the proofreading process the project manager reviews the final text and finalises it together with the proofreader and/or translator. Each word is thus reviewed at least three times.High Standard Translation
High standard translation is suitable for the most demanding (specialist) texts and texts which are to be published in the mass media. Besides being translated and proofread, the target text is reviewed by a second proofreader, who, if needed, adapts the text to suit the language context in which it will be used. Before delivering the translation to the client, a final automated review is performed which ensures the highest possible correspondence between the original text and the translation, at the same time ensuring the linguistic impeccability of the target text.The high-standard translation reviews each word at least four times.
Our Quality Standards
All translation and proofreading phases include built-in quality checks which guarantee the highest possible quality of the translation no matter what translation package you choose. We realise that most clients do not have their own team of target language experts and can therefore not evaluate the quality of our service. That is why quality checks are built-in to the translation process - to assure the highest quality of translations.Furthermore, we are accredited according to the DIN EN 15038 Standard, which is the only internationally recognised translation services quality standard in the world. The right to use the DIN EN mark is granted by the German Certification Organization DIN CERTCO to translation services that improve and maintain strict quality checks.
